but I also don't see the west being near as strong as last year. Miss State had a once in a lifetime season and they won't sneak up on anyone this season. Ditto for Ole MIss, quarterback questions, possible recruiting violations and investigations will distract them and did you see what TCU did to them in the bowl?
Arkansas has yet to put it together under Bielema so until they do I'm not buying. LSU has quarterback questions and as usual lost a ton of talent to the draft. Many of the SEC network pundits thought they would be down during the media days broadcast. Texas A&M seems to run hot and cold a lot. You never know what you're going to get with them so I have no idea but again I don't believe they are loaded and ready this season.
Then there are the two Alabama schools. I'm just not buying the Auburn hype yet. Let's see what their new quarterback can do over a season before we give him the Heisman. Most schools in the SEC with comparable talent have figured out the Malzahn offense. Our defense was our weakness last year and we shut it down after their first drive. Muschamp is good but so was Ellis and you see what happened with their defense. Just not buying it until I see it.
Then there is the one consistent, Alabama. I'm sure they will be in the thick of the races as Saban has recruited too much talent not to be but they don't have an established quarterback and lost most of their O-line along with their greatest receiver of all time and multiple studs on defense. Yes I'm certain Saban will probably win it again but I just don't see and anointed champion in Alabama this season.
The west may very well be better than the east again because lord knows there is no real power over here either without questions but I just can't see the west doing what it did last year again this year, how bout you?
