Yes. MLB, UEFA, NBA teams can pay young players, but they are under contract by a team/organization. No other entity has jumped the shark like college sports.
People kept denying a massive, uncontrollable overcorrecrion would happen because of the NCAA levying common sense and normal change over the course of decades... but it's nearly impossible to find many who would self-identify as a champion of the NCAA's former view of amateurism these days.
