I'm tired of hearing guys like Captain, Elevator, etc rip our current coach but haven't offered up an alternative. Its easy to bitch and complain, but offer up a solution. Who would you like to replace Coach Fox should an opening occur?
As I look back on the history of UGA basketball program, it is quite stunning that we have only made 12 NCAA tournaments since our program began in 1932. I can’t fathom the fact that in nearly 85 years, we’ve only played in 12 tournaments as a program. Of the 12 tournament bids, Coach Fox has led our program to 3 of them in 8 years which isn’t something to be proud of, but when understanding where our program has been and come from, its progress.
Unless we allow our next coach to play the dirty, slimy AAU game which I don't think is the right answer, you better think twice about getting another coach just for the sake of it.
