We have been good under Richt, very good mostly however we haven't really been great yet.....not for a whole season at least. We have completely overhauled our staff except Richt, Lilly and McClendon in a year, so we can only hope that the change in staff and attitude and S&C will give us that edge to be different.
I would guess that if we are "same ole Georgia" we will win in Athens vs Bama in an incredible atmosphere where we leave it all out on the field like we have many times for big games and then potentially lose to Tenn. The great teams find ways to win these games after a big game, theres no rule that says if you play a big game and win, that you lose the next game to a team that hasn't done anything significant for a decade and has been awful for half a decade just because you are playing at their place and have played crappy against them the last two years.
The Tenn game will be the chance to show the fans and the college football world that its NOT the same ole UGA anymore, that its a new team with a new focus and drive that beats teams that they are supposed to beat no matter what happened the week before.
I hope we take the next step.
