Not only will we lose to Bama, Texas, and Ole Miss, we will get blown out. Double digit loses. And, our Playoff hopes will be gone. Yes, there were some bad execution plays last night, and we have injuries, but this is where coaching comes into play, and you adjust, change play approach, use your strengths, and stop running the same plays over and over again that aren’t working.
And I get that you don’t always show all your cards with plays etc., but I am of the philosophy that I would rather run our offense and move the ball than just play the vanilla game plan. You don’t have to show ALL your cards, but running up the middle, the screen pass to Arian Smith, the swing pass to RB out of pistol, even my 11YO was like, “here comes the screen to AS11”, and yep, there it was.
And I know we don’t have Brock anymore, but the plays to our TE were non-existent last night. I saw maybe 2 plays to TE last night? One was on the fumble by Delp.
