by Damion Fishback during the game. When we finally got out in transition a couple of times an scored in the sluggish first half he said I know mark Fox has liked being a halfcourt team the last few years, but I believe with this team they should push the ball more because they have the players to do it. He also said when CM committed a turnover on the break that CM tried to pull back instead of running out because he looked over at CMF or something to that effect. Then he said they just need to go ahead and run.

DO ran the floor, got great position low before the D was set, as I said he should be, and we hit him for a quick bucket. Fishback pointed it out as a great way to score in the paint in transition and CMF immediately pulls him as a reward.

When we went on our run in the 2nd half both announcers said it was because of our transition game.

On the post game show Tony Delk said once Georgia got it's transition game going it was the difference.

What have I been posting, along with others, about the need to take advantage of the strengths and abilities our players have in the open court? It is obvious to just about everyone but CMF that we are a much better team in transition. If he does not encourage and allow our guys to play that style much more we will not beat good teams with our half court offense. I'm not calling for a run and gun, but give the guys some freedom and play Wilridge and Turtle more.
