I know we are all excited about Fall Camp starting but I have something serious to talk about.
My nephew, a brilliant 30-year-old Navy vet, took his own life two nights ago. It's a tragic situation and I'm still in shock.
I don't mention this for sympathy or for prayers (although they are always welcome) but rather to reiterate what I always say about this community.
This place is special. It can't be replicated. We argue but we also have a real family here.
