The Democrats can say and do anything because they know mail ins will allow them to cheat and no reporting from any media outlets. We no longer have any reporters only policy backers on video.
Oregon has been voting by mail for 20 years, and other states have been doing it too....and Trump voted by mail...where is any evidence of any voter fraud (above and beyond what happens with in-person voting).
Big difference between vote by mail and absentee also,,, who in the world wants to end up like oregon???? thats where portlandia is for goodness sake.

Best I can tell is some of the people can’t distinguish between mail in voting and MAILING in an absentee ballots.
Worst than that, their vote counts the same as yours.

Trump requested an absentee ballot. Complete apples and oranges and you know it. Personally, I think you should even have to do that at a courthouse or city hall or somewhere monitored in the county you vote, like I had to do in college. They even made me take my Georgia fees paid card to prove I was not gping to be in town. IIRC, just going on vacation didnt get you one. You had to prove you were at school, would be out of town on business, or could not be there due to a truly legit reason. IOW, a real excuse for not standing in line and casting your vote at the polls. Georgia was very strict about it back in the day. And F' early voting too. Make an effort or you dont get to vote. And show a damn ID.
Yes, we should do everything the way they did it when you were in college. I had to sign up for classes at Georgia in Memorial Hall and fill out some little punch card or whatever it was. Screw this online registration. If you aren’t willing to invest the time to sign up for a class you don’t deserve to be in that class.

No one is saying you can’t use the mail for an absentee ballot, simply that mass mailing out of millions of blank ballots is a terrible idea. See The NY district that couldn’t declare a winner for over a month and imagine that at a scale thousands of times larger.
These would need to be verified and it opens up easy avenues for fraud.
Not really a good example for fairness and logical thought. Portland calls burning buildings with Cops in them “Peaceful Protest”.

Give me a rotary phone, a good electric trpewriter and a rooftop TV antenna. As far as research and knowledge, a physical Library and printed books worked fine for centuries. And I also dont want the govt to be able.to see what I am reading without a warrant. I'd even be OK with mono and not stereo. And F' a walkman, too. I could keep going.

What cracks me up is no one knows a thing about me or my politics yet bc I am not following the cult of Orange Donnie and blindly accepting that mail in voting is a massive, coordinated effort by the Democrats to win the election due to stuffing the ballot box, according to people here I am an idiot who believes in the Easter bunny and i have comrades who want to off him. I voted for Trump in 2016 and see 2020 as an election without a candidate I am excited about at all.
I work in corporate finance and have for a long time...which is only relevant bc one of the foundational elements of my job is to be objective, follow the data rather than make unfounded assumptions, and to look out for the biases from others and myself. So I ask again, where is any evidence of voter fraud? Don’t just listen to the talking points without any evidence, but let’s see if there has been fraud.
I rarely venture onto the chat bc there is rarely a discussion with people that doesn’t devolve into people on both sides just blindly insulting those who may not agree with them, much like this thread.
There have already been 6 assassination attempts on the President. You can do your own research on that, especially since you research for a living.

To be fair Colorado has been doing in mail in voting for a while as well and it was mostly republicans winning. Maybe you have your own opinions of that state but I haven't heard anything outlandish.

That doesn’t begin to answer my question. Earlier, when I brought up Oregon, people laughed and wondered why we would want to emulate Oregon given they are a blue state. So why should we care what Europe (with many socialist leaning governments) does r doesn’t do?

My point is that we have plenty of info on mail in ballots in the US. The US isn’t Europe and doesn’t have the same infrastructure or processes.

What other states? Oregon is full of left wing Ding Bats just like Washington and Ca. . Absentee ballots are offered by all states but it used by small percentage of the register voters and doesn't represent the near the problem of total voting by mail. We know from recent election in some states that there is a high probably of fraud . Then if Trump wins the Dems will challenge every ballot in every state and try to keep the election from being certified by Jan 20 so Pelosi will be installed as President untill results are certified. If people can go to the grocery store and shop they can go to the voting both. The same people who push for total mail in are same people who think their is no need for Voter ID. All this total BS it's nothing but the socialist are scared their agenda will be set back for years if Trump can get 1 or 2 more Supreme Court picks..There is nothing they want do to try to prevent this. Americans who want to remain free better wake up and send these Democrats back home and let them spend their Millions that they made while serving us.
