In Germany today. Boy, if the AfD wasn't already poised to crush it in their elections next month, they surely will now. The illegal Afghan was ordered deported last month but defied the order (shocker). So, he decides to approach a kindergarten field trip and murder as many children as he can. A 41-year old German man sought to intervene and was also stabbed to death. A little girl was stabbed three times in the neck and bled to death.

It won't get much coverage here, foreign stories rarely do, but close your eyes and try to pretend you are that girl's parents and you get this phone call. Good God.

Get these fuggers out of here!

As for the Democrat claim that our economy would shut down without the illegals; wrong. I learned today that 60% of our crop farm workers are not illegal; 40% are illegal aliens. 20% are foreign born but here under H2A visas (which is legal). They applied, got accepted, and we monitor them. They make American wages, live here in USA, but retain their native citizenship. Sounds fair to me.

Get these illegals out of here.

Merkel couldn't have done more to harm Germany if she had started WWIII. Germany may be able to save itself but the U.K. may be lost.
I say this to my British friends all the time. The USA runs planet Earth but we need help. We cannot do it all alone. And Great Britain has completed stepped back from the world stage starting several decades ago. This the long game of woke policies. Try to convince Brits and Americans that we should be ashamed of our dominance, ashamed of our success (as if every other person in every other country wouldn't try to replicate what we've done lol).

But when you hear this nonsense for 40 years, you feel like "well, maybe we should let a bunch of people from other countries into our country. What's the worst that could happen?"

The USA needs a strong Britain. Australia's gone weak. All these fools need to follow Trump's lead and be strong; not fugging weak.

I’m old enough to remember when we got all our crops picked just fine before we had a huge illegal immigration problem.
I agree . Enough already. Go back to a slow tickle of immigration with a vetting process.

The last thing that we need to do is flood the gates and create a situation where we start paying benefits to illegal immigrants because the the system gets overwhelmed.

Exactly. There’s nothing more insulting to me than when a Democrat says “American needs these illegal aliens“, or “if we crack down on illegal immigration, who will build our homes?“

Can you think of anything more insulting to the greatest economy in the history of planet earth, than implying without illegal aliens from Mexico our economy would fold? Like, how did those dumb and lazy Americans ever build any homes before the mid-1980s? How did Americans ever get any vegetables before the mid-1980s?

If you were to include the votes of only people whose family have been here since 1980 and before, Democrats could not win a single state in the union. Maybe Minnesota.

And to their credit, Democrats know this. This is why they try to import 5 million illegals and foreign nationals on an annual basis so that they can then try to naturalized them and get them voting rights.

Remember when California was a red state and the only pockets of liberalism were Hollywood weirdos and San Francisco leftists? Can anyone imagine California being a red state today? That’s what Democrats want to do to the whole country.

The service industry would lose over 25-30% of there workforce and that is a low estimate IMO.

These are people that wash dishes, cut grass, clean offices, build homes, construct commercial buildings. Wash your car, cook food, run the hotel work force jobs. Pick your crops, produce your poultry, mill your carpets and textiles.

This is slippery slope. These immigrants have been here for 10-30 years doing these jobs and they for the most part only want to earn a living and send money back home. They pay social security tax and payroll tax that will never be collected.

Finally, these small businesses are run by conservative entrepreneurs and employ a large % of the workforce in the middle management and leadership roles. These middle and upper management roles are supported by front line immigrants that came here illegally.

This is a big problem that needs a solution. While it may not shut down our economy in full if all the immigrants that came on a travel visa or temporary work visa that expired or just came across the border illegally 15-20 years ago and they never went home.

Don’t kid yourself, you want to see cost or wage increase spiral out of control, send them all home.

There has to be a process to get them legal. Again, I am not talking about the ones who have come across in the last 36-48 months. These people are now part of communities and society. They keep there head down and work.

If they break the law or commit fraud, violent crime, send them packing but this is not that simple. IMO

The problem is we have immigration laws that have been ignored for the last half century. Blame whomever you want because both parties share in the blame. Both parties have had opportunities to change laws if they wanted but put on a Kabuki theater show and allowed the U.S. to be flooded with millions that use services, collect benefits and make babies like it's their job.

Obviously, there will end up being some mechanism for registering self sufficient aliens that have assimilated which will allow them to remain/return. What we shouldn't do is ignore our laws for the sake of convenience and if the laws need to be tweaked to allow beneficial aliens to remain, then stop playing politics and change the laws.

These are people that wash dishes, cut grass, clean offices, build homes, construct commercial buildings. Wash your car, cook food, run the hotel work force jobs. Pick your crops, produce your poultry, mill your carpets and textiles. I am aware of what low end jobs are; I've worked plenty in my life.

This is slippery slope. Enforicing law is in no way "a slippery slope". If you are so passionate about it, then see how many congressmen will pass a law saying anyone can immigrate here at any time. You will have zero takers. These immigrants have been here for 10-30 years Are you not aware of the 5,000,000 illegal aliens that Biden/ Harris invited in to our country? they've been here for an hour and a half; and are going back. doing these jobs and they for the most part only want to earn a living and send money back home. I am sympathetic to that; but that is no excuse to break the law. So anyone can break any law as long as they have a good sob story? No. They pay social security tax and payroll tax that will never be collected.

Finally, these small businesses are run by conservative entrepreneurs Not Always and employ a large % of the workforce in the middle management and leadership roles. These middle and upper management roles are supported by front line immigrants that came here illegally. This is a wild generalization. My firm is certainly not. Also, it is simply not relevant - get out! Come in legally. Or pay Americans American wages. You cannot simultaneously say you support workers while you flood the country with illegals.

Ag workers will be allowed to convert to H2A as will many others. They're here; so we'll convert them. But we need a constitutional amendment that they can never become citizens and their kids can never become citizens. Otherwise, get rid of them all.

There has to be a process to get them legal. lol - no there doesn't. Again, I am not talking about the ones who have come across in the last 36-48 months. These people are now part of communities and society. They keep there head down and work. Obama already did DACA and DReamers. We are good at this point. If I wanted to live in Mexico, with Mexican people and Mexican values, I'd move there. But I don't.

If they break the law or commit fraud, violent crime, send them packing but this is not that simple. IMO
above.

So what happened?
What happened is that everyone realized living in America is fugging awesome and living in Mexico is trash. So, it's much easier for these folks to just break into our country and live off the life we have built rather than fix their own effed up country.

I say this all the time... I have no interest in importing "men" who have so little character and constitution that they are not willing to die to rectify their own country's problems. Do people think the American Revoluation was bloodless? And that was back when war was not very nice. If you are not willing to do that, then you are not strong enough to deserve your own country. So... they just break into our.

And Democrats allow it because there is data showing that new immigrants vote Democrat.

I agree. If you employe an illegal aliens, versus your own countryman, you deserve felony prison time. I'm that serious about it. Our country will fold if we dn't support each other.

Please don't @ me with "Americans don't want to work for those wages" b/c that's a half truth. Americans don't want to work for slave wages, yes... so don't pay slave wages. Last time I looked, farmers were doing pretty well. Same with homebuilders, same with hotel owners. So, yeah, you might live in a $1M house vs. a $2M house, but that's what's right (and legal)

If they are here without a green card then they should go. They should do it the legal way!

Just be prepared for what happens next.

I am as conservative as they come but I don’t think anyone realizes the impact that would have. Trust me people have absolutely no idea the financial negative impact.

Not trying to get anyone to agree with me or win a debate.

There would be a massive black hole created by that action that would make this past four years look like a cake walk.

Who is going to fill all those jobs?

What a naive response. You really have no idea what you are talking about.

It is not worth a conversation.

I’m self employed… I do a lot of landscape/hardscape design and construction work around metro Atl… and have a 15 acre tree farm off I16 between Macon and Dublin… if I didn’t have latino labor to help me with things, I’d be unable to feed my family doing what I love… I’d be forced to work for some bigger company and have to fall in line like a lot of others in my field… there truly aren’t very many folks out there anymore that will do (love) this kinda work, period…

it is a very slippery slope and I honestly respect both sides of the argument.

I was raised a staunch Christian conservative.

Again, there are so many hard working good people from Central America that bust their buts doing a job most will not.

The guys that help me work sun up to sun down, keep to themselves, and are the only damn ones that will do what I need done… I wish I could find folks that were easier to communicate with than them, but I’ll take any help I can get…

I'm all in for the moves being implemented by PDJT and his administration....especially as it relates to illegals with criminal backgrounds.

But, I agree that we have to find a solution to allow migrant workers to come here in an orderly fashion. Their labor is vital to the success of certain industries, and there has to be a way to get this done.

Perhaps we could implement a system similar to the Saudis. Saudi Arabia manages its immigrant population primarily through the "kafala" system, which requires all foreign workers to have a Saudi sponsor (usually their employer) to legally reside and work in the country, essentially tying their immigration status to their employment.

For those immigrants who are not in the 'skilled labor' class, we could construct a 'foreign legion' whereby immigrants can serve as militia to assist our military. There would be a set period of time where these folks would be trained, learn the English language, etc. and after a certain time and if they are proficient in the skills they were taught, they could be elevated to 'regular' military service....and ultimately gain citizenship.

The answers are easily identifiable and common sense legislation should have been passed 40 yrs ago. I've said it many times, you could put 10 chatters in a room for a couple of days and we could come to an agreement on 90% of the immigration issues.

I think most everyone would agree with a system that allowed companies to sponsor green card recipients that would under go a screening process, general tracking (maybe check in once per month) and making the companies liable for their benes etc while they were here. Heck, I wouldn't even have a problem with a path to citizenship for migrant workers that lived here for 5 or so yrs and didn't have criminal issues. What we can't do is continue electing pols from both parties that want to ignore the law and allow a black market economy and human rights violations aimed at people afraid to ask for help because they know they aren't here legally.
