I'm as pained by this loss as any other Georgia fan, and I understand people's Legitimate Point that OUR (were all in this together as Dawg Fans) Goal for the Basketball Program should be playing Winning March Madness Basketball and making it to The Dance at least once every 3 years or ultimately every year.
But at same Time I can't find myself getting Angry at our team who Battled through SO Many Injuries and still found way's to win enough games to make this tourney, and Fought #1 Kentucky to a great battle with Great Fan support, and yeah we lost That Game and we Lost This game this year but this whole year was a "Medium-Big" Step Forward for Georgai Basketball Brand, we got more respect and people/recruits saw the fans do support team better then some guess, and we even had a decent showing in this Game Today.
My Point is UNTIL we start making NCAA back to Back and losing in first game I don't think losing to Michigan State who was an OT away from winning Big 10 and beating #1 Wisconsin like 5 days ago, and who has one of the More Storied Program/HC in the game is THAT bad. Granted We didn't play near to our potential, and despite all that we were still with in a nose hair at ne point in end of game, But We PLAYED Hard I will say we Played Hard, and we SHOT FREE Throws well, and we GOT GOOD LOOKS we just DIDNT finish and that is on the Players NOT Coach Fox he drew up plays to give us looks near the rim and we just kept missing
We make the Tourney next Year and that is going to be a Big Deal in itself with lose of players, then we can start maybe complaining about not winning a game, but I just can't see how you think its SOO Bad after all this team did and WHERE our Program was the last 10 years overall,
The SEC is Recruiting THE best it has in prob 20 years next year with all kinds of talent getting infused and will be Much Togher the net 2-3 years, but we are recruiting better and all we can do is ask to be Dancing Let's String Together back to back NCAA tourney tickets and build up some Tourney experience and then start talking about losing first game to big tim program GO DAWGS EITHER WAY
