This is an important issue that I think we need to settle here on the Vent. I'm 36 and have noticed that the younger kids are doing our most sacred cheer wrong (or, in the alternative, differently than I learned it). I need to know, am I wrong or are they?
I was taught (properly, I believe) that it's "What's that comin down the track" because, for the love of god, why would "a mean machine in red and black" be a "who"? (there's also a subsection of people who say "all dressed up in red and black" for the second line and they are just monsters).
So, what say you, Dawgvent? Is it "What's that comin' down the track" or "who's that comin' down the track?" I believe there may be an age divide here, so maybe post your age too. I fear that we will never beat Bama if we don't come together on this issue. I thank all you drunk, obnoxious Georgia fans in advance.
