I have concluded a detailed study involving thousands of hours of review and analysis of the alleged journalists at the AJC including the sports pages contributors. The results are grim.

Typos, weak thinking, laziness, and poor word choice run rampant on a field of amateurism, in my opinion.

You're mad about that 8-4 prediction from Bradley, aren't you?

They did two things starting about 25 years ago that really started their decline. One they became very critical of UGA sports while at the same time seemed to prop other programs (like UT and Auburn). They basically tried to alienate their major subscribers. I use to get the paper everyday just to read the sports section, but in the late 1980's they started to get more mean spirited and negative in their UGA coverage.

Also, being a political junkie, I used to like their editorial page. It was fairly balanced between conservative and liberal reporting. either before or at about the time Cynthia Mckinney got there it went to about 90% liberal to 10% conservative. The conservative bashing and progressive promotion was too much for me to take. I haven't read that paper in at least 20 years.
