Best non-selective foliar herbicide going except for kudzu and privet..

then you need a manly herbicide like Tordon 101.

Re: It will burn ivy but wont kill it down to the roots***

We used Tordon 101 at the rate of 3 gal. of active ingredients per acre for kudzu and it worked, although it pretty well sterilized the soil in the area for a few years. One of our scientist told me an old kudzu patch could have a root system the size of a volkswagon.

Whazzup with RoundUp, Ty? They taking it off the shelf? *

No, one of TEE's buddies hates Monsanto and he posted something

Friday about some people in some backward country getting their water supply contaminated and then Pug jumps in like he was the president of an environmental left wing group.

Re: Bamboo is about as bad.**

When I left my job with the paper company and went to work for the the Forest Service, I remember some of the old family members back there saying " why in the heck do you want to work for the people that gave us kudzu and honeysuckle to stop erosion".

Don't kill the kudzu! Young leaves edible and nutritious. Tree Village ....

Will need it to feed all of us and our goats.

I've got this viney stuff growing up in my juniper that I can't figure out

How to get rid of it. I'd like to hit it with Round Up, but the overspray will get the junipers. And, I've learned the hard way that Round zip will kill junipers grave yard dead. I'd like to find something I could broadcast over the top that would selectively take out the viney weed, but not harm the juniper. But, I've not been able to find such a product. So, I'm left pulling it by hand as best I can, and periodically repeating the cycle.

Oh. Well then, they sure wouldn't like some of the things I do around my

House then.

It was BS IMO. Told him if they would post UGA research, I would probably believe it.

Glyphosate is not a soil active herbicide. If you can spray the bottom of the vine when you cut it and not get any on the juniper needles it should work. I have done that several times with vines in our azalea bushes. The best time to spray vines, etc. is very late summer when they are storing nutrients in the root system.
