The best thing that came out of last night for me was the intensity our guys played and cheered with. JJ and yante almost to the point of taunting the home crowd - late in second half. Heading into some of the timeout huddles after big plays our guys were fired up. The best sign for me was crump - he looked completely engaged in a few camera shots, yelling and flexing as the team gathered around fox. Not sure how long he can remain engaged and might have just been the exicitement of a comeback in front of a sold out and fired up away crowd in a "rivalry" game (if we can call it that in hoops), but his demeanor helped return a little optimism about this season.

I almost didn't watch the game. Had it recording in the first half and the score and box score glances were infuriating.

I decided to watch the second half and I'm glad I did. Unfortunately for me, who wants to see much more of crump, diatta and ew that we're getting, our comeback and big win came without their help. That may further solidify fox's rotation patterns, but at least we got to se a core group stay on the floor for extended minutes to get some rhythm. Not the exact 6 or so players I would choose, but better than the serial substitutions.

If our guys consistently play with that kind of intensity, and the bench consistently cheers them on and remains engaged like last night, I think we have a chance of reaching our potential despite our very average start to the season.
