LOL! Finebaum is actually a University of Tennessee grad and huge fan. He was Front and center cheerleading the charge in the Albert Means case against Alabama giving his benefactor and Vol Fanatic Roy Adams a weekly forum to blast his old partner and Alabama. The old partner was the Vandy grad oleo margarine magnet Logan Young, who started pulling for Alabama since Vandy couldn't beat UT. All 3 of them, Finebaum, Adams and Young are/were more than a little light in the loafers, btw. Finebaum is a huge fan of one Steven O Spurrier and wanted him to come home to UT after the fall of Fulmer but it was not to happen. His dislike list includes UGA/Richt (big UT foe), and Alabama with some disdain left over for AU. The radio station he started on back in the day actually started his first call in show and named it "fussing with Finebaum" since he was the most universally hated guy in the state of Alabama for his vitriol toward anything Bama. Those Alabama fans and he went at it from the get go and it finally expanded to 2.5 hours to get all the callers on expressing their venom toward him. The AU fans of course loved him til Cam when he turned on them. You are way off the mark here good buddy, he's UT to the core and that is his source of anti-Dawg feelings.
