I haven't read the pleading but my guess would be that the states control voting and that NY is somehow interfering with MO. Just a WAG. At this stage, literally everything is political even if they know a court won't buy it.

The reason I say this is the Republican Party doesn’t actually care about stopping woke policies, lawfare against the right, closing the Border, ending foreign wars etc.

The Missouri AG suing the state is the classic republican strategy of writing an angry letter.

He knows it doesn’t deter or punish a single person involved in the Trump prosecution. If he or any power in the Party was serious about winning democrats would be frogmarched into county jails in red states.
