Georgia- already posted in great detail elsewhere.
Texas- Look good. Good catch and run ability from WR and RBs. RB depth could be a problem. Don't seem to run up the middle that well, but didn't try much. May see that they can do it this weekend. Allowed too many backside defenders to make plays, but could be just Sark putting that on film as bait. Thought Norton was great on the DL. Still thinks it's a dropoff because the two they lost were great. But thinks it's strong enough not to be a weakness. The secondary didn't get tested by Colo. State and Michigan may not be able to test them either based on how their passing game looked last Saturday. Texas secondary was one of the worst in the country last year.
Alabama- Didn't think the OL was great. Later said it was still in total one of the better performances their OL has had in recent memory. Lost the LT in warmups, so they had to shuffle things. Didn't think they ran that well between the tackles. But loved their skill players. Thought the TEs blocked well. Liked Milroe. Then went on a little spill about him not getting his feet set properly and missing some throws. Still praised him, but doesn't sound much different than last year. Said the QB called runs are gonna be a much bigger part of their game this year compared to last. Alabama D- Looked incredibly fast. More disruptive up front than he expected.
Ole Miss- Oline looked great. Juice Wells looked great. Some breakdowns in protection. But there were some guys getting after it and saw more juice in their Oline than in the past. Defense looks better physically.
A&M- A&M defensive line looks good. LBers and secondary are not as good. Aggie Oline was bad. Serious protection issues. A&M couldn't sack Riley and felt like that was the difference. ND avoided catastrophe plays and A&M didn't.
Tennessee- Nico, looks very confident in the pocket. Made some great throws. Thinks Dylan Sampson is gonna make a huge difference for them offensively. Oline was good not great. DLine was great. Not a good test for their secondary.
Florida- Disappointment. Didn't think the effort was there. Weren't disciplined. He didn't say it, but this of course comes down to coaching. Florida couldn't rush Ward and when they did, they left rush lanes open and he burnt them. Florida Oline couldn't handle the defensive front. Florida needed to run more quick, get the ball out, plays and ran too many long developing plays. Said there's gotta be more effort, more willingness to put their facemasks into chests or it's gonna be a long season. Miami has more talent than Florida, but they played harder and smarter and that's why it was a blowout.
Vandy- Pavia is a dog. "Ain't afraid of a damn thing." Oline pushed VaTech around more than not. Physical on defense as well. More active and confident than last year. They are gonna be handful. Got a lotta guys that play hard.
S. Carolina- Not as bad as it looks. Dline was active. Got some guys that can make plays there. Lbers and seconardy was fine. No concern with the defense in this game in terms of play. Old Dominion mostly scored on bust plays you can clean up. Liked the way Rocket Sanders ran the ball. The QB can be rusher you lean on for a whole game. Liked most of the skill guys, but the Oline is terrible.
UK- BV- thought his arm was better than what he was told. Not great, but more zip as he said some told him arm strength is not what you're getting with him. Needs to protect himself better.
Said JDJ looked bigger than he remembered and really physical.
LSU- Lots of talent, but weren't disciplined at key times and it cost them. Not sure if that goes away. "If you're gonna act like a moron, you don't all the sudden stop acting like a moron." Potential to be a great football team but can they get a grip on that moronic stuff? Lotta stuff to be excited about with Nussmeier, Emery, Taylor and freaks at WR again. DL was better than he expected.
