agree. This is what he planned on happening as we watch the events occur. Weaken the US economically,weaken the military and cause strife racially among the citizens and strife between blacks and the police.
No one does, but here is the problem. What happens when Iran gets Iraq and all that extra oil money and then continue to radicalize the rest of the middle east. At some point it effects the world and the world economy and therefore us. Not to mention the increased threat of terrorism here and abroad. Then one would think Obama would feel some sense to keep Iraq stable and free since we liberated them from a tyrant, but I guess he couldn't give a shit about the American lives lost and the people there having to live under servitude. Obama is creating a vacuum that Iran, China, Russia and even North Korea are just waiting to fill and weaken us further. When your policy has Saudi Arabia teaming up with Israel against your policies you may need to reevaluate your policies.

You're not alone in that position. But the problem is, the war was won. POSOTUS only had to leave a small force there until the place found stability. Now, we have a whole new force to fight. And it doesn't really matter if we want to go back,...They will find away to attack us. We will have to fight them at some point. The question is , do we do it before they get even more oil money?
And besides that, lets be honest. Muslims aren't going away, and as recent polls show over 80% of muslims SUPPORT ISIS. So much for the "moderate" muslims. These savages are going to be at war with us for our lifetime and our childrens , childrens lifetime.
Actually it was Bush's fault (and congress) for going in the 1st place and no I don't believe it was all "faulty" intelligence. I think some was manufactured. 2) threw out 500,000 Iraqis troops instead of pulling a George Patton and bringing them in. They've got families to feed too. We created a vacuum for nothing good to happen there. 3) Bush signed the agreement of when to leave and he, nor Obama, could get a status agreement to protect our troops against Iraqis laws. No way should any Prez leave troops there not protected from Iraqis law.
Let's not forget. Americans were tired of war after a decade involved in 2, Iraqis insisted we leave. All that said, with sunnis, shias and Kurds hating each other for 100s of years, I don't see how anybody can create any peace. Saddam may have been a cruel dictator to his own people, but we and other allies had him contained, he was annoyance for sure, but not a threat to us and the rest of the Middle East wouldn't mess with him.

Well, when Bush left it was under control. I think it was a mistake in the first place. But its really quite silly to claim it was some grand conspiracy in the first place, everyone in the world would have had to be in on it. We know they had WMD's, Saddam used them on the Kurds.
As to the troops not protected from Iraq law, that's complete BS...More made up shit by POSOTUS to cover his sorry ass. He has sat by played golf and tried to force this hoax climate change as our biggest worrry while these savages are expanding and getting stronger. Regardless of the past, the present is what it is, and its not going away no matter how POSOTUS trys to ignore it....

Seriously, if anyone cares to just watch and listen to the last 10 minutes of that very movie, "Lance of Arabic" he will find clearly stated from historical discourse exactly what happens when one side or another "over there" wins a battle or a "war." They celebrate for about 10 minutes, then start fighting over the treasure and the women. More fights/battles/wars beget more tribes, which beget more fights, etc., etc., etc...............................

If U.S. "interests" were not "over there" capitalizing on natural resources, there are no less than 6 other countries who would gladly and promptly fill that void with their own "interests" in natural resources and "world order" ................. on their terms, of course.
If you believe for one moment that Obama wanted to extend the status agreement you must be in Colorado smoking the good stuff. Obama could care less. He wanted out of that country and cut out the first opportunity he got. He made no real effort to reach a status of forces agreement and everyone knows it.
You can blame Bush for the war ( against the evidence). You can blame how he handled the surrender ( though when you don't know who the good guys are sometimes you have to throw them all out and start over). You don't want to risk a military coup. However that country was relatively peaceful when Bush left office. In fact that is what Obama said when he decided to cut bait and run ( another lie, I suppose).
Saddam not a threat? Do you not remember the Kuwait war? The Kurdish massacres? The constant UN violations of his truce agreement. The Suadi's certainly felt threatened. The Iranians felt threatened for the ten years they were at war. Then there is Saddam's constantly training to obtain a nuke.

But to these right wingers distorting truth, trying to prove bush didn't do the catastrophically most stupid thing a president has done in the past 40 years (going to war in Iraq 'cause his daddy didn't finish the job) is more important than all the dead soldiers, dead Iraqis, or regional leadership failure. Saddam, while a terrible person, kept the religeos fanatics at bay as they were a threat to him. Try reading bob wood wards book on the build up to war, shows how the White House worked on selling the war with Iraq the moment 9/11 happened, even though there was no evidence of their involvement. If the war was about 9/11, we should have invaded Saudi Arabia where 90% of those bastards were from, and where they've been promoting Wahhabism for decades.
