Easley and Tuggle should be dismissed. It’s harsh but this has to stop. The goal isn’t to send a message. A player died in a similar accident, hitting a telephone pole. There’s no message louder than that. We just need to cull these guys off the team. Problems like these beget themselves: reasonable players who don’t race cars are less likely to attend, and morons who do are more likely to come. Would you let your son join this team?
Get rid of them, one by one if needed. There’s no god-given right to play football. They’ll get their due process in the legal system, and there is plenty of football opportunities elsewhere.
