but watching us offensively can be downright confusing. If the first two games are any indication, the success or lack of is going to depend on how we score the ball. I get home last night and I'm watching the second half of the GSU-Auburn game and Jared drops 19 on them like he picked right up were he left off with the Ga Stars and Pebblebrook. Why can Jared who is 5'10 a 150 pounds able to play defense yet our freshman supposedly cant? I've watched Jared and Crump throughout their HS careers and AAU circuits, Jared isn't any better of a defender than Crump. Jared looks relaxed and in his groove, Tyree? He looks uncharacteristically tight and tense. I know Coach Fox said on the radio after the game last night that the offense will be a work in progress and I tend to agree, but why are we insisting that a guy who hasn't played in almost 2 years and before that was not a good shooter be taking the majority of the shots every game? Parker is a great rebounder and defender no doubt but relying on him for offensive production might not be too wise.I was one of the few around here who didn't think the team was 100% definite for the Tournament, waay too many questions after JJ and Maten. I just hope regardless of how this season unfolds, next year we don't hear" Well, we are having to learn how to play without JJ and Yante"....We need to learn how to do that THIS year somewhat...Ole Miss put up 88 last night, Auburn 83...60 points against a team we had a significant athletic and size advantage over is alarming to me, hell maybe I worry too much.
