the following website to demonstrate how DANGEROUS Concealed Carry Permit holders are: Concealed Carry Killers.

Taking their own data and combining it with data from the FBI crime database I gave him this response:

"Interesting stats. According to your referenced site concealedcarrykillers, permit holders have murdered 732 people over the past 8 years.

With approximately 12 Million permits issued in the US (a conservative estimate) that's 6.1 murders per 100,000 people with Carry Permits.

Over the same period there have been approximately 72,000 people murdered with firearms (FBI Crime Database). So roughly 71,268 people have been killed by the 300 Million or so people who DON'T have carry permits. That's a murder rate of 23.8 per 100,000 people WITHOUT a Carry Permit.

So it seems that you are 3.9 times MORE likely to be murdered with a gun by someone WITHOUT a permit than by someone with a permit.

I notice they never give the stats for how many crimes (rapes, murder, robberieis, etc.) have been prevented, not to mention lives saved by those in the legal possession of a firearm. That just never seems to make the discussion.
