I do but unlike other schools, the offense we chose to run is not something that can be picked up overnight no matter who the OC is. Schott did not create this mess, he inherited it. Losing Chubb and having a wreckless player like Ramsey is not helping. Lambert looks tentative but it is because he is managing the game, he just needs to learn to throw the ball away more often. This Oline is no different from the Knowmo days, Gurley, Chubb, and Knowmo made their own way and made the line look way better at runblocking than they actually are. Pass protection is better but D's are now loading the box up as we are weak at WR. Do wish we threw to the TE's more.
On D, The secondary is still a dumpster fire but that was not going to get better over night with all the cancers that left. It will take a few recruiting classed. Dline is better but still weaker than it should be.
It will take a while to get depth. I am personally under the opinion to screw the proset, it is left over from a by gone era, even the NFL is widely west coast spreds at this point. It was great at Miami and USC or now Bama, but all football players are getting bigger and stronger and coaching is better across the board than 30 years ago. You have to out scheme teams anymore, not just out physical them.
I do not think anyone can argue that UGA has squandered away the weakest SEC East ever and I think it is about to start improving.
