But, I will vote for everyone else in the primaries. Jeb is a moderate and I do NOT like his stand on common corps and immigration.

He might be the worst hope for defeating Hillary. The Bush name carries too much baggage.

You realize Obama is STILL campaigning against George Bush right?

I think Jeb is the last guy we need for our nominee. Cruz, Walker have both shown they can lead with a strong conservative message and actions.
Jeb couldn't win if he promised free healthcare for everyone. He would be hillary light on top of that.

First name Jeb, strike one. Last name Bush, strike 2. Proponent of Common Core strike 3.

Man, it feels like 1964 all over again! Who is going to be 2016's Barry Goldwater? Apparently, Jeb is either this election's Nelson Rockefeller or Richard Nixon. Too moderate for the tinfoil hat brigade.
Tin foil hat is a stretch at best. Look where the moderates have lead this nation.
We need a Reagan type leader that is not afraid to lead this nation in the prosperous direction it needs.
If we elect another moderate that panders to the left we are doomed to continue this cycle of big government keeping the private sector down and adding to the public sector with even more government employees to get on the tit.
Jeb is not that type of leader, but he may be a good decoy for the left to tear up while others gain traction.

yep, lots of strikes against him. many would be much better choices, but I have a bad feeling he gets the nod. A shame that in 2016, Bush vs, Hillary is the best this country can do. This country has gotten focked up in a hurry.
Jeb will not get the nomination.

Sadly Jeb is probably one of the brightest running but I agree the media will absolutely portrait him as another Bush and many will not support him. Personally, I could see a Walker / Bush or Walker / Rubio ticket. The PUBS need Florida so look for one of them to get the VP nod if they don't get the nomination.

Obama is still campaigning PERIOD , that's the best thing he does . what a fake , most people don't know who he really is . the democrat party spent millions covering up his back ground . justice kagan did the deed and got her appointment as repayment .

Agreed. It would be too easy to run against him. He claims to be his own man, but shares almost all of his father and brother's policy positions and corporate cronies. Meanwhile, Hillary could contrast the era of peace and prosperity under Bill to the eras of war and recession under both Bush Sr and Jr.

The ONLY advantage Jeb brings is that he might be able to deliver his home state of Florida which is a key swing state with a ton of electoral votes, particularly if Rubio were his running-mate. Even so, I just don't like the guy, nor do I like his chances in a general election. I truly believe the GOP will be making a HUGE mistake if Jeb is the nominee.

Both Jeb's father and brother were big government, establishment guys and Jeb professes to be the same. What in the world would lead you to believe Jeb would be for small government? He simply favors a GOP version of big government.

That was my point, I think Jeb would be more big government, as he and his family have shown by example.
At best he could deflect media attention from the Walkers and Cruz's so they can build their platforms.
I do not want Jeb to be our nominee. He has shown to be another moderate at best, which will further the cause of the left. I really like Walker and the way he stood up to the unions and the left toe to toe and backed those sob's down. He then took a state that was running a deficit and got running with a surplus. He was also a governor, which usually is a plus in the running of a government.
The bush's were fiscally no Reagan by any stretch.

Have to disagree. The Democrats will regret giving Hillary a free ride and a "coronation" on the way to the Democratic nomination. She's beatable but Jeb Bush isn't the one who can get the conservatives and independents excited by showing a contrast between her "liberal" policies and his own. We've got several other good candidates on the Republican side who can and will be able to muster some enthusiasm as well. JMO.

Hillary is NOT Bill, as Jeb is NOT his brother or his dad, though we are fools for labels and the broad brush. We've proven over and over and over, that we the peeps prefer smart ass to smarter in most elections, big and small.
