Shellman Bluff, Ga
we saw thousands of them floating on an outgoing tide Sat here in Sapelo sound...I have seen them b4 but usually on a full moon at night...similar to the worm hatching in the keys that will be happening in about two weeks there...Great Tarpon fishing then...

Saw the post/pics of the worms in SC....don't know what to make of it...

..you know anything? No doubt some critters are gorging on them. Water temps too cold for tarpon, cobia no doubt are either here or close ( I haven't been yet to find out).

Getting ready to be on...

Yep...Palolo worms..these were red with brown ends..about 2 inches long

they break apart to breed...grow in rocks and other underwater structures

the Tarpon comment was meant about the keys.. I have seen them hatch b4 during the summer at night..Fish go crazy over them..in the keys the Tarpon go crazy/stupid over them... I wonder if they might start bringing the cobies in the sounds..
