Went last night and saw my old HS (Central) vs the School my kids go to now (Oxford). Pure shootout and some good key stops late in game on D for Oxford made the difference in 56-46 win. But Jonaz Walton is hands down the best HS RB I’ve ever seen in person. Just different. And I played with Tyrone Prothro who was RB in HS.
Took opening kickoff back, amazing between tackles, hard to take down, break away speed, size, and hurdles TWO DEFENDERS AT ONCE and never broke stride. He’s special.
Oxford Had
Mason Mims, 2025 Louisville Committ, 28-35 440+ yards, no int and 4 TD.
Keenan Britt, 2026 South Carolina Committ multiple TFL and doubled most of the night.
Amazing game with stars everywhere and the 4-stars showed out.
Sure hope Walton to the good guys happens. He’s a difference maker.
