Well I know a lot of people weren't happy with the news and that was me included, but what is crazy is that Geno actually recommended her to Carla and Greg. It came down to Niele Ivey and Joni. Geno and Joni are close, which I had no idea until today. She also worked for Kim Mulkey who is the HC at Baylor which I also didn't know. Geno called her a "great up and coming coach", and that says a lot coming from him. Joni is going to do things her way and she should have a very good product during her first year. I am rallying behind her and I just really hope the rest of the Dawg a Nation does the same. She had a special message to the Georgia recruits, and I agree, if South Carolina can do it, it can damn sure be done at UGA, again!
