of tickets left for this week's matchup with Bama and Wisconsin in Texas stadium.

They don't seem to understand why. Wonder what the tix cost? The away game tix cost have gotten outrageous, imo. UT and AU started that. Used to be a gentleman's agreement to keep at same price as regular tickets. Then they got greedy and everybody fell in line. It does open up tickets like it did for SC for the home team, but sure wish they'd go back to reasonable prices. I refuse to pay 115 for a ticket to AU. And it was a great road (bus) trip!

I agree. I will not pay over $100 for a regular season game.

Tickets for tonights 6:00pm (seriously?) game in Charlotte are $125 and up for Gamecock Club members. Ridiculous and why I'm watching on the tube tonight.

I never buy season tickets and I sit in the best seats. Last year for the Georgia Florida game, I paid 150 bucks to sit on the 50 Club Level. Why would you buy season tickets?

I don't get it. Some kind of status symbol?

Not for me. I just don't want the hassle of trying to find tix, etc. that I can be happy with. Used to not matter where I sat, just so I was IN. Things change as you get older. : )

With the conference championship, first round of playoff and natty game, I think Bama fans are wise to save up. They have spent a TON on tickets the last few years.

Agreed. It is a status symbol. Have a pal who's dad has 6 season tix. He has the cash so he figures why not. A lot of the tix they have go unused for the the lesser games. A lof the folks have had family with tickets for decades so they hold on to them. I paid 100 bucks a piece for Clemson tix last year and if I want to go to 2 more big games I'll spend a fraction of what the season ticket holders spend. I think UGA will have a hard time as years pass and a lot of these older alumni age. I'm in my 40's and most of the folks I went to UGA with have a lot more things going on in life to warrant spending a small fortune every year on UGA tickets.
