we didnt deserve to win, got exactly what we should of gotten, a big "L". For the life of me i cannot see how we can justify playing 11 guys against a good ACC team that we really need to win. Being 11 deep is one thing, that i could understand but we are not. Clemson played SEVEN guys, we play 11. I agree with Dans lineup suggestion of JJ, Turtle, Diatta, Derek and Yante. Rotate in Wilridge, Crump and Edwards, Parker being the 9th guy. Parker cannot SHOOT the ball, he defends and rebounds very well, but we are limited offensively when he is on the floor, i would give him 8-10 minutes a game.
Crump can help us this year, IF he is allowed to play through some freshman mistakes and he KNOWS he will be allowed to do that. If he is put out there thinking he is going to get pulled the first time he slips up he is going to struggle. Why do we refuse to commit to a smaller rotation of guys who can score and produce? Why are we so adamant about playing guys 17 minutes who give you nothing? And I'm not talking about one game but over years. Yes, its just one game, and looking at our schedule we will probably roll into SEC play with just 2 losses, 3 at the very worst, but watching friday nights performance makes it really hard to connect to this team.
