Switched to Georgia Natural Gas. The 12-month fixed rate plan is .539 per therm with a .05 per therm discount, giving a .489 per therm rate for 12 months.
Also, signing up I got a Delta Skymiles bonus of 10,000 miles. Plus, for every dollar I spend with GNG I get 3 Delta Skymiles, including what I spend on the service fee and any other fees.
I'm in a cost-cutting mode. I bought a cable modem, last week, so as to cut the $9 per month rental cost from Comcast. I got a good deal on a Motorola 3.0 cable modem, shipping included, for about $75. That will pay for itself pretty quickly.
Just checked my new 6-month car insurance policy, yesterday. They actually dropped the cost almost 10% for the coming 6 months, which is cool.
