Perfect example why the U.S. Dept of Education needs to be shut down…all the mandatory politicized brainwashing bullshi+ these kids are taught now, yet they can’t even answer basic Civic and US Govt questions…sad
And something needs to be done about this. These teachers unions have to much power over the education system. They have teachers that are not qualified to teach that they are protecting. They are down grading the standards for excellents because the minority students can’t keep up with their peers and they keep dumbing down the standards to accommodate them. The students that want to learn are caught up in this mess and it needs to stop. Need to take the money and let the states have a chance to make decisions on their students.

No but this is one of the main issues! I believe that the local government should not be allowed to tell the parents that they can’t disagree with their decisions. I think they should go back to the local PTA and let them decide what should be taught to their children. Keep the government out of it. And I am talking about the local board of education members. I think they should be eliminated also!
