I'd like to know who labelled him "Outlaw Country"? I don't see any Waylon, Jerry Jeff, Shaver, Ray Wylie et al in the island boy.

No, but I can picture Kenny trying to get "in" them while wearing a pink kerchief, white cowgirl boots and a pair of frilly arseless chaps.
