It's more like always trying to encourage him and lift him up. I wonder if it's just Beck's different in what he responds to or if it's because he thinks he has to sort of build him up since he's not fully ready yet? I don't know. Just noticed that trend during the first 3 games. Even when Carson seems to have a mental lapse or bad play, Kirby hasn't yet gone fully unhinged on him.
