My only reservation was culture, but he is so clearly the best for what Kirby wants to do, I'd pull the trigger.
I came to this conclusion watching more video of Stanford's offense. They are just amazing at executing a very sound blocking scheme. They get the ball to their playmakers and they don't beat themselves.

If there is a better option given Kirby's criteria I'm all ears, much like Our AD.
