Georgia and Florida have been the main teams battling for Jones. It appeared that Florida held the upper hand despite Jones always being very high on Georgia.
But in the wake of the Gators landing Aaron Chiles, UGASports is hearing that Georgia might be in much better position for Jones coming out of his official visit. He greatly enjoyed his time in Athens (along with fellow Virginia linebacker Chris Cole) further developing his relationship with Glenn Schumann.
This recruitment isn't over, but Georgia certainly seems to have some momentum right now. He's in that pool of names Georgia is looking to take at inside linebacker along with Cole and Justin Williams.
