Looks like Georgia has secured an official visit with two posts for sure in Jasmine Walker and Mikiah Harringan. Walker is a 6'3 PF that has the ability to really stretch the defense with her ability to hit the three ball. She has been ranked as the number 25 recruit in the country and as low as 33. Would be a major coop for Joni. The great thing about it is, she named Georgia in here top two along with Rutgers a few months ago. Joni has snatched Jasmine's recruiter from Rutgers and the Scarlett Knights are no longer in her Top 5. It is down to UGA, Louisville, Auburn, Florida State, and South Carolina. I think Georgia lands her!
Mikiah Harrigan is down to Georgia, Texas A&M and Miami. Miami and Georgia lead right now, an this is a kid with a great future. Great athlete at 6'2 and I see her making a name for herself at the college level. She can shoot it from the perimeter, handle it and is a very quick leaper. She is very good on the defensive end and she has had a great summer on the AAU circuit. Joni did a great job of being on her early and I am hoping she brings her in regardless if she feels good about Walker or not. This kid is a baller and her game will speak for itself once she gets into a program that can teach her what to do. She is so skilled and if you add her along with players like Walker (if Joni can close the deal), Engram, Robinson and Washington that would be very special.
Awaiting lists from Tyra Johnson, a 5'8 combo guard out of Alabama. I am sure Georgia will make her top 5. Faustine Aifuwa a 6'5 post out of the state of Georgia has yet to put out her list, but I'm sure Georgia will get a long look. She is another one that has a bright future. A college strength and condition program is goin to do wonders for her.
