our two seniors and supposedly best players, Mann and Gaines played like freshman, making TO's, bad passes, lack of D, bad decisions, poor FT shooting and making senseless fouls. Their play was symptomatic of pretty much the whole team. It was so frustrating to see our lack of hustle on D, continually giving up open three's the entire game.This was a home game we should have won. If we continue to play like this we will have a very poor season and will not come close to making the NCAA tournament. UC out-hustled us and wanted the game more than we did. We were certainly not primed to open the season showing a home crowd what a hustling team, minimizing mistakes can do. We were so lethargic and MF just stood there, arms folded almost the entire game, not showing any emotion or trying to get this team to play hard and stop the stupid mistakes - just very disappointing in so many aspects of what an SEC team should look like.
Last night's loss was so disappointing on so many levels....
