What does the process look like of starting a class action lawsuit for discriminatory practices? What are the upfront costs? What fees would I incur, or would the legal fees be paid to the firm as part of the settlement if it is successful? I am in a situation where thousands of others and myself have been discriminated against and denied access to a product/service we paid for with zero explanation.

You need to have tangible, iron clad evidence of the misconduct you complain of. And if your case is about “discriminatory practices” you are almost certainly tilting at windmills. Impossible to prove.

You need to have a target that can pay. Insurance, cash - whatever.

You need to have tangible, iron clad evidence of significant damages for the class members.

And a friendly Judge.
