It has come to our attention that Floyd has been playing inside linebacker in a number of Georgia's player-led 7-on-7 drills. He played there a couple time last week and again before that. We are told he was there again today, rushing from the Mike linebacker spot.
According to those we have asked, it is not a permanent switch, but just Georgia working on another way to get Floyd, Lorenzo Carter and Jordan Jenkins on the field at the same time. the three of them are out there with Reggie Carter running a 3-4.
Dash pointed out that Floyd did play inside occasionally last year towards the end of the season. But it seems they are working on a number of combinations to keep Floyd -Carter- Jenkins on the field at the same time.
