happens in the next couple of games. What he has done over the past month is arguably as good a stretch of all-around basketball any UGA player has ever strung together. And we are all hoping, against hope imo, that he can continue his incredible play through the next two games and into the sec tourney. I have no doubt that JJ will play his heart out and do everything he can possibly do to help us win. But, if he is not able to produce almost super human games the rest of the way I hope we will not see folks laying the blame for our failure to make the dance on him. The cause of that failure, if indeed it turns out to be one, is contained in the box scores, of all too many games, based on minutes played.

JJ has played more minutes than anyone in the conference and when you consider that not only does he play more, but he has the ball in his hands every possession and is almost always in motion it boggles the mind how his body has held up. I hope there is a large crowd tonight and JJ receives the recognition and appreciation from the fans he deserves. I wish I could be there to see it and I'm hoping they show it on the pre-game. I've been in the situation he will go through tonight and I understand the emotions he will be feeling. I consider him my brother, as I do all who have represented UGA to the best of their ability. And that includes Brandon Young, Houston Kessler and Kenny Paul.
