I hope to summarize our Hoops Board with no editorial comment of right or wrong, just the facts.

1. 99% on here think CMF is coming back, regardless of which side of the fence you are on of should he return or not. Looks like the media is on that side as well. In addition, I do believe 100% believe he is truly on the hot seat next year.

2. Our wins and losses came a few different ways, but our wins have to have 3 of 4 people scoring well...those 4 being JJ, YM, KG, CM.

3. Our bench, regardless of player, did extremely little to help those other 4. Two factors are two sides of the same coin : 1. CMF did not recruit the correct bench players. 2. Of the bench players he does have, either they have not developed at all in any amount of time here, or are developing so slowly because of limited time on the court.

4. Our arena is good enough and ADGM will not pull the trigger on some upgrades that also are not enough for us to have a premier arena. Seems contradictory, but both statements are true. Our fans, however, get another low grade, sadly.

5. We have 2 regular season games we need to win and most likely a shot at 1 win in the SEC because of our seeding. We can win 1, then it will be very tough (barring an upset we haven't shown any propensity to pull off this season), so we are fighting for making the NIT and seeding in the NIT. Lose the next 3 games and we could be out of the NIT. Barring a tornado run through the SECT, all NCAA hopes are gone, even if we win next two and two in the SECT. I think 3 wins to get to the championship game is tornado-like.

6. Recruiting in CMF's tenure has been inconsistent at best. He has many misses in both players he signed and many that didn't choose us. He has 1 great signing (KCP), a couple great finds in JJ and YM, some good players, and the past year and next year are better on paper in numbers than what he had in the prior 6 seasons, but so far, the freshmen class this season have not contributed nearly as much offensively than other freshmen under CMF. So, they, and the 2 coming in next year, have a ton of development work ahead of them.

7. At this point, statistics review is not going to change the future of this season, it is too laten although it clearly points out what we have to do to win these next 2 and 1 in the tourney to make the NIT. 3 of the top 4 must have good games. If not, then our bench has to be able to score more than 2-10% of the team's total points, something that has not happened this season.

Moving forward, I want to see in our last 3:
1. Quality play from our top 4.
2. Something from our bench to help us win a game... scoring.
3. Development of the freshmen (too little too late for this season, but I want to see it for next season).
4. A great turnout for senior night. Regardless of our discussions on CM and KG, they did fight pretty consistantly regardless and are DGDs. BY, too, for being a practice player to help the team.
5. If we do get to the NIT, I want a championship run. I have stated many times that just making the NIT is not much of an accomplishment, but making the championship game gives us some boost. It would mean that numbers 1,2,3 happened together.
