link. dam. Breaking news local WTOP, Co-Pilot purposely crashed the plane**

If that's the case, I don"t understand why they just don't shoot

themselves in the head when they land. No indication that he was a terrorist.

Yep. Guessing 2 will be required in cockpit at all times now, everywhere

The US already requires this.

Insurance is what I've always heard as the reason. My company pays 2x my salary if I die but 10x if I die in a work accident or while travelling for work. I Know for a fact the pilots I work with have the same type policies.

Google fedex flight 705 and read up on that one. Hijacking by speargun in order to crash it and cash in on bigger life insurance policy.

A bunch on there aren't ready to cash in. Chicken Sh!t bastards who kill

a bunch of kids and others besides themselves. Why would they care how much insurance somebody got?

They are depressed or whatever and trying to take care of their family. I would hope that the airlines have it so if they intentionally crash a plane then their life insurance is null and void.

People are crazy. Another interesting read about crazy suicidal people is the SL-1 reactor in Idaho. A dude finds out his coworker is banging his wife so he does the rational thing of causing a meltdown to kill himself and the dude banging his wife.

Once again...people are f'ing crazy.
