confident, tough, and ready to turn the ship forward...we've been sideways for a long time now...I think the players should be excited about a new voice...and a chance to actually play for something for a change...instead of the Music City Bowl...

I like what I'm hearing and can't wait for the new era to start....

To step out of Saban's shadow and immediately display so much surety/command presence, He has to have been mentally preparing for this moment for a long time.
My big question was whether He has the makeup to be THE guy, I think He does.

99.9% of coaches were hired for the first HC jobs by being good assistants. Kirby was a great, long term assistant for the top man in football. He also understands that hiring the best people around you is the way to go, bringing in Saban's chief of staff is brilliant, strength and conditioning is solid, would like Pruitt to stay because of continuity plus it takes another recruiter out of the hands of our competition, so in my mind, how Kirby does is going to come down to the Offensive Coordinator, it is paramount he gets the very best available.
