this morning. He basically said what i have felt for many years. He said it doesn't matter how many Bigs or great Wings you have, unless you have an elite PG you will not win at a high level, he commented how you have to have quality play at the PG position. Fox has always seemed to put an emphasis on wings and Bigs with length and we haven't signed a pure PG since his arrival. Turtle is more of a combo guy, Crump has a 2 Guard mentality, Mann was a 100 miles away from being a PG and JJ was much better and effective playing off the ball. I'm guessing a pure PG isn't a priority in Foxs offensive scheme but its no wonder why we have had trouble the past few years with breaking presses and getting into our offense. It's looking like either Turtle and or Crump next year, Turtle isn't exactly strong with the ball and Crump will basically be a freshman next year so it should be interesting.
