Finally made it to the press box despite the run-around from Dolphin stadium security personnel who had no idea where we were going so we wound up walking all around the stadium
Anyway. All is well now, and we're ready for some football.
The Bulldogs have yet to arrive, will soon and myself, along with Jed will provide you with pregame notes right up until kickoff.
I did some checking around this morning, and from the folks I speak with, there's no last-minute issues that anyone needs to be concerned with.
As I usually do, all pregame notes will be posted in this particular post. I'll timestamp each one to let everyone know when there is new info.
6:02 - One of the first Bulldogs on the field is Chris Smith, getting loose in the end zone. He didn't play a ton against Alabama as he rehabs his knee injury
6:11 - On the field for Michigan is DB Dax Hill. He arrived in Florida very late after clearing Covid protocol, but the Wolverine defensive back is going through some pregame warmups now. He's second on the team with 65 total tackles.
6:15 - JT Daniels, Brock Vandagriff, and Carson Beck are on the field doing some light throwing. Don't see Stetson Bennett quite yet
6:45 - Dax Hill just took the field dressed out for warmups. Also, it's shaping up to be a pretty pro-Michigan crowd. I'd guess maybe 65-35 based on our view from the press box.
6:47: UGA center Sedrick Van Pran is dressed out and snapping with Stetson Bennett. Looks to be fine from up here.
7:00: George Pickens is officially here, dressed out and warming up after his late arrival to the Miami metropolitan area.
7:02: Offensive line still the same: Salyer, Shaffer, SVP, Ericson, McClendon left to right
7:03: Freshman safety David Daniel is here and warming up. We had heard he might be battling Covid, but he's in the house tonight.
7:11: Early indication from defensive walkthrough - Chris Smith at safety, William Poole at star. Wouldn't be surprised if there's some rotation there tonight
