Well, here we are, the 2020 home-opener, it’s Oct. 3 and the game is against Auburn.
Raise your hand if you dreamed you’d see that? Not I.
Of course, everybody’s eyes are on the quarterback situation for the Bulldogs.
Myself, Radi Nabulsi and beat writers who cover the team on a regular basis have been hearing Stetson Bennett all week after repping with the first team offense.
ESPN, meanwhile, seems to think that JT Daniels will be the man. Time will tell.
Keeping mistakes to a minimum will obviously be key in this one. The Bulldogs’ can afford to commit eight first-half penalties like they did against Arkansas, while the defense will need to continue its good work from last week.
So, stay tuned.
The weather is perfect, the field looks great, so let’s play some ball.
