We are at 7-1. We need 12-14 more wins to make the dance.
Out of our 22 games remaining, 15 of our opponents have better RPI than us. Of the other seven games, 4 of them are on the road, (and we know how tough it is to win on the road).
It is early and a teams RPI can change quickly, but it is the only comparison we have right now. We are 11th in the SEC in RPI at 64. We are ahead of Vandy who is struggling, but was projected top 5 preseason SEC.
SEC will probably put 6-7 teams in the Dance, so we will have to beat and pass several teams that are right now rated higher than us. We must win the 7 games we are rated higher, and find a way to win 5 more games where they are rated above us.
Must beat Temple (RPI 11 ) at home on 12/22. It's a 1:00 start on a Friday -- with the students gone. Really need fans to turn out .
