Looking for a backup generator for my home. Need one

large enough to power 2 full size refrigerators as well as a few lights and fans when power is down.

Any recommendations on brands, size... I have been looking at 4-5000 watt tri fuel to hook up to natural gas and have the others as option in case NG goes out.

You might need a bigger generator than 4-5KW. My dad got a 10KW Generac a few years ago and paid about $10,000 to buy it & have it installed. Also, he paid the local contractor about $400/year for preventive maintenance, and had the generator set to perform its own self-test once a week.
