I think the committee got the rankings right (in accordance with the system's rules), but also:

1. UGA = Best possible path to the NC (see points #2 & 3)
2. NO rematches (except possibly Ohio St/Oregon in Rd 2)
3. ...and best of all... BAMA IS OUT

Plus - Tenn/Ohio St & Texas/Clemson will be fun 1st rd matchups
