In my opinion. Seeing Jayden Daniels in the pros and what I saw in college. How much offensive talent would Kelly actually need to win ? Will there ever be enough?
I’m not saying he didn’t use him properly. But I would say end result is he still had Daniel’s and didn’t win Jack. So in my opinion he was wasted.
Would you agree with that statement ?
He wasted him by not having even a top 40-50 defense. They had 77th ranked defense. 20 spots better and they probably compete for the title. That’s how I view it.

Fast forward to this year.
Kelly still hasn’t learned. Total defense like 65th.
Within a program before he arrived normally always did well defensively and always had defensive talent and recruits.
