Pretty simple formula to this weekend. Bats need to stay alive and stay hot. LSU's pitching hasn't been up to snuff thus far this year until last weekend. Did a good job against Kentucky. 8 different pitchers held Kentucky to 7 runs over 30 innings. But they do post the highest ERA in the SEC right now at 4.83.
Good oppo for another series win this weekend. A sweep would be incredible. Getting out of this week 3-1 would be a tremendous success and it would get a lot of people excited about where this season could be headed.
